Lightning will not change its color & display theme if user choose a different theme, which is the accessibility theme(Gnome High Contrast Large Print Inverse theme). Thunderbird will change its theme and color according to the system settings. This should be fixed to make lightning being compliant with the system theme automatically after user changed his desktop theme preferences.
This is only visible to calendar views.
Component: General → Calendar Views

When using a high contrast theme it is impossible to read the "Events and Tasks" summary, the calendar view's montly summary (box in upper right corner), and tasks filter from the tasks view. It appears to be due to changing the background color to white or light gray while leaving the foreground font color up to the system's preference.
The issue still exists in Lightning 0.9 (see attached image)
(In reply to comment #3) See Bug 435096 for this minimonth specific issue.
The "Today", "Tomorrow", and "Soon" labels are also unreadable when they are selected and the window is out of focus.
