The "Get me out of here..." button for adding an exception should direct to the home page, not Google.

Since an equally accurate summary would be "Revert the decision from bug 339032, bug 402261 and bug 420751" you might want to go into a little more detail than that about why you think a decision that's been made so many times already should be unmade.

I don't get your point really. To which comment in the bugs you mentioned above do you refer? I can't see any benefit by going to Google nor any good argument in favor of it (so far).
More than that I don't agree with Gervs comment in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402261#c9 because I also have about:blank as my home page and I don't to be taken to Google, rather prefer to see my homepage (It's nothing against Google - I have the Google Toolbar installed, but I don't want to be taken to a page I don't want to go).
Maybe there is something I have overlooked?

A quick skim of bug 339032 points out:
* Some users have multiple home pages, and you wouldn't want this link to open multiple tabs.
* When you escape a phishing site, you might want to search the Web for the correct site, and the default home page (Google search) is good for that.

Interesting! There is always more to learn. How does that work with multiple home pages? I've always had only one...

It's really not such a big deal, but still...I'd prefer to get to my own place instead of some search engine (I'm deliberately exaggerating it because tomorrow the default "home" page could be something else than Google) or no place at all perhaps.

For the reasons quoted above, redirecting the user to their home page isn't really desirable, and while a blank page would also be safe, it would be substantially less useful. I understand your point here, but "Get me out of here" ought to be a reasonably rare occurrence anyhow, and I think the motivations behind the current behaviour still make sense, so I think we should leave this as-is.
