I found out, that google.com will redirect to www.google.com and that FF doesn't seem to be able to understand the redirection and that the favicon of google.com is the one from www.google.com as it is redirected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to google.com and www.google.com several times to have the entries in the dropdown 2. type google in the location-bar Actual Results: see that google.com has no favicon and www.google.com has one Expected Results: google.com and www.google.com should have a favicon
Do you mean in the bookmarks, if so this is a dupe of bug 121518, or do you mean in the history (which is probably a seperate bug indeed). Tracking bug for favicons: bug 120352
No, I do NOT mean the bookmarks, i mean the dropdown of the addressbar, which is the history, i guess. Here is a screenshot of the bug: http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/7241/gmxawesometj6.jpg While here is the same website when i went to it via the history: http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/570/gmxch0.jpg gmx.de, as well as gmx.net will be redirected to www.gmx.net. you can do the same trick with google.com, which will be redirected to www.google.com best regards
