Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 3.0a2pre
In the Thunderbird address book you can assign multiple email addresses for one contact (e.g. home and work addresses). You also can do so in the Mac OS X address book (Mac only). You are able to use both addresses if you choose the address book from the main window. But if you are in the compose window, click on the address book button ("Contacts") to open your addresses on the side of the compose window, you are only able to choose the first address.
To clarify this further I've made a screenshot: http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/5580/examplevv6js2.jpg
It would be nice to have the possibility to choose also the second address in the compose window (write window).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click the "Write" button in the main window
2. Click the "Contacts" button in the message compose window
3. Try to add an "additional address" from one of the contacts
Actual Results:
You can only send a mail to the first address
Expected Results:
possibility to choose also the second address in the compose window (write window)

Email addresses in the "Additional Email" address book field should also be available from the auto-complete drop-down menu in the compose window. That is normal, expected behavior.
If Thunderbird Mac OS X Address Book integration is to be limited to read-only, then at least Thunderbird should be able to access all contact email addresses in all available methods of composing a message.
I would greatly appreciate this enhancement, and will be voting for it momentarily.

That is bug 447927 and nothing to do with this bug.
