Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.16 (20080708) When new emails arrive and all of them are marked as junk by Thunderbird, a notification alert occurs. This is the cas when using Thunderbird with several pop accounts and these accounts are set up to download the new emails to the "Local Folders" account. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add several pop accounts to Thunderbird. Use accounts that receive load of spam to be able to see the problem. 2. For each account, choose the "use global mailbox (store new messages in the Local Folder)" option in the third screen of the account creation process (I'm not sure of the exact wording since I'm using a french version). 3. Configure Thunderbird so the junk mail is automatically moved to the "Junk Mails" folders on "Local Folders" ("Junk mails parameters" screen in the accounts parameters). 4. Wait for new spam to arrive Actual Results: If new emails arrive, some of them are notified even though they are spam. When looking for them in the Inbox, they don't appear since they are already in the junk folder. Expected Results: The notification should occur only if after filtering spams some "clean" emails remain and require notification.
