Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.17 Often, when sending to a list taken directly from my address book I get this failure notice (note, in this example, "Grounds Family" is the list name): [Send Message Grounds Family <"Grounds Family"> is not a valid e-mail address because it is not in the from user@host. You must correct it before sending the email.] I am able to eliminate the problem by quiting then restarting Thunderbird and immediately composing a new email with the list address. I can tell you that I did this just now and managed to send one succesful message to a list address, but then when I tried again with a new message about 3 minutes later I got the send message failure notice again. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set up list address in address book 2.Compose mail and put Grounds Family list address in the TO header (I put it directly from address book by double clicking on the list address) 3.Press send Actual Results: I get this failure notice [Send Message Grounds Family <"Grounds Family"> is not a valid e-mail address because it is not in the from user@host. You must correct it before sending the email.] Expected Results: Should have recognised Grounds Family as being a list address from address book.
