Details
This library will be able to interface with the updated PFS service via xhr and JSON feeds.
Goal is to detect a current user's plugin information and use it to do the correct calls to check plugin compatibility from a central service that contains up-to-date plugin data.
Detection would be similar to:
http://developer.apple.com/internet/webcontent/examples/detectallplugins.shtml
And not unlike the work in bug 391433. This is bigger in scope, however: it should be embeddable and work from any site plus work with all plugins known by the server.
