some related bugs: bug 42253, bug 42255, bug 43406. Putterman: I thought we weren't going to worry about getting every mail window set with offline status/indicator. If we are, there's a few other windows/dialogs to think about to be consistent with 4.x. Let me know...
The patch looks OK, except I don't understand why the progress meter has an onClick event which calls dumpProgress(). What does that do? Nominating for beta3. A couple days before beta2, a highly trivial bug like this isn't going to get nsbeta2+...so no need to waste the PDT's time.

Offline icon present in mail window status bar. Offline state changeable by clicking icon. Tooltip for icon changes appropriately with the state. Calling this fixed/verified. Remaining offline ui issues will be logged separately. OK using nov21 commercial trunk build Win98, Linux rh6.0, Mac OS 9.0
