Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Scroll down to Aug 8th, @5:31am, from "jancastermans" about "And still no Java on linux :-(". There is (currently) one reply from "Salsaman". 2. Middle Click (Linux) on the Re: subject. A new Mozilla Window will appear. 3. You'll see "See _here_". Left click on the here. There may be timing issues involved, don't wait around between steps. Actual Results: Not Found The requested URL /show_bug.cgi was not found on this server. Apache/1.3.12 Server at images.slashdot.org Port 80 Expected Results: Bugzilla bug 28461. The location bar shows the correct URL.

I can reproduce this bug, even more generally: 1. Start browser (today's 08/14/2000 m18 nightly) ./mozilla http://gort.ucsd.edu/escowles/wronghost.html 2. Click on any of the links (various forms of the URL that all point to the same thing (e.g. http://libraries.ucsd.edu, http://libraries.ucsd.edu/, http://132.239.119.11/). 3. The location bar is correct, but the browser displays the correct document (index.html), but from the wrong host (gort.ucsd.edu, the host the first document was loaded from, instead of libraries.ucsd.edu, the host in the URL).
I can reopen this bug if you'd like, but it did WFM on M18 nightly.
