Steps: Select the inbox in the folder pane (pop3 in my case) Select a message there Select the sent folder The tab displays the the correct folder selection, but the title bar does not change until a message is selected in the sent folder. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090225 Lightning/1.0pre Shredder/3.0b3pre ID:20090225031420 Did not show this behavior. So set blocking bug 476343 Further folder selections seem to get the displays in sync.
Linux too.

Sorry for the spam, but although the symptoms seem to be harder to reproduce. This bug is still active.

Re-tested in Shredder/3.0b3pre ID:20090322031550 The symptoms still persist, but are more easily noticed if the preview pane is dragged out of view. So, it's easy to get a minimized TB icon to show incorrect focus. (In other words, clicking on the "sent" icon, actually brings up the "inbox") I also confirmed the regression range: Shredder/3.0b3pre ID:20090225031420 works fine, later builds show the bug.

asuth, is your refactoring likely to help fix this?
Andrew says his refactoring should fix this, I think it'd be a shame to have a new feature like this slightly broken/inconsistent, so putting on the blocking list for now at least.

This was fixed with the UI refactoring on bug 474701. If you experience any problems using a recent nightly, please check the dependency tree of bug 497199 and make sure that they are not already filed there.
