User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090522 Minefield/3.6a1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090522 Lightning/1.0pre Shredder/3.1a1pre In header pane some lines are not in line with their headerName. The email lines are not touched. Last good nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090518 First bad nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090519 This problem affects only 3.1a1pre. 3.0b3pre is okay. Reproducible: Always I suppose this problem is caused by Bug 481751. When I change in XUL the mail-headerfield from textfield to description the lines are in line. I set the Operating System to All as I see this also on Linux.

I'm seeing the same with: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090523 Shredder/3.1a1pre ID:20090523033624 Not seeing it with: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1pre) Gecko/20090523 Shredder/3.0b3pre ID:20090523031650
Depends on: 494901

About the regressionwindow-wanted. Is my window in Comment 0 not enough?

Summary: Down shifted lines in header pane → [trunk only] Down shifted lines in header pane
In Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2pre) Gecko/20090829 Shredder/3.0b4pre is seems to work correctly again.
(In reply to comment #7) > Shredder/3.0b4pre is seems to work correctly again. No, 3.0 always did work, this bug is only in 3.1.
Sorry for the confusion: I tested it with a build I compiled myself base on the Mercury repository comm-central. Shouldn't this be the trunk?
(In reply to comment #9) > Sorry for the confusion: I tested it with a build I compiled myself base on the > Mercury repository comm-central. Shouldn't this be the trunk? No - we haven't branched comm-central yet, and the development focus is the Thunderbird 3.0 builds, the only difference between 3.0 and 3.1 is the gecko backend being used.

I see the problem no more (also because the header lines don't use the baseline alignement any more like before). As the core Bug is resolved and the testcases works now, I close this Bug.
