oh, we have an archives folder icon now...I didn't notice because I was only ever in the smart folders mode. I don't remember if I needed to do anything special to see the special folder icons in the smart folder mode, e.g., tweak the themes.

I see this on mac as well, this is cross-platform.
OS: Windows XP → All
Hardware: x86 → All

dunno - this fixed it for me on windows. It could be a theme issue at this point, I guess - perhaps other people on other platforms could say if it's fixed for them or not...

er, this bug is about the top level Archives folder, the smart folder, not the individual ones...

I'm not sure what David is seeing, so if he's still seeing the top level smart folder showing a search icon, than this should be re-opened...
