Thunderbird 3.0b2 does not show any folder outside my inbox. I also can't
subscribe to any folder outside the inbox because they are simply not shown.

With v2 (f10) I could see all folders and I haven't changed the configuration
since then.

The imap-server is an cyrus-imapd and the rights there for such an, now,
invisible folder are e.g:

anyone lrs
--------------------------------------

I've searched for some (new) knobs in thunderbirds config, but was unable to
find something related.

Matej - can you pls try the nightly to see if the issue is present?

(Not sure if it might be fixed there, but trying is better than not)

Can you also describe the steps that you take to try to show / subscribe to any folder outside the inbox?

bug 493209 might be related, if this works in nightly builds...

if nightly builds don't work, an imap protocol log would be useful:

After upgrading again to the b3pre of f11-koji (thunderbird-3.0-2.4.b3pre.hg.6a6386c16e98.fc11.x86_64), the public folders appeared again. I've made logs of both invokations (b2 and b3pre) and the difference seems to be, that b3pre sends

list "" "%"

after

list "" "user.%.%"

which the beta2 does not.

I don't know what I've modified, but as I posted in the other bugs, those folders once appeared using beta2 too. So the bug might still exists in beta3pre and it might be luck that they appeared every time using beta3pre. Anyway, it seems I can repdroduce the disappearing with just switching back to beta2.
