Menu problems after theme switch

Details
The menu problems I had earlier (where selecting one menu, e.g. File covered up
another menu e.g. Edit) appear to happen only after switching themes under the
preferences submenu of Edit.

The proper thing to do is post a comment to the bug (in this case, bug 49917)
and clarify it. Anyways, dup of 46948 -- reopen that if you still see the
problem in new nightly builds.
