500003 - Compose window will not open when using "send to email" from Microsoft Excel or Access RunTime

Before this update, I could prepare a spreadsheet in Excel and "send to email recipient" and Thunderbird would open a compose message window and have the spreadsheet as an attachment.  Now this does not work.  I get an error that says send mail failed to send message and that's it.  I use products with Microsoft Access Runtime and get the same result.  However, WordPerfect will still open and attach the document to the email as it always has.  My problem seems to be interaction with Microsoft products.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Pick item to email
2.Select "send to email recipient"
3.Error message "Send mail failed to send message"
Actual Results:  
Nothing else.  It used to work, now it doesn't.

Expected Results:  
The software has always opened Thunderbird, opened the compose message window, and attach the document as an attachment to the email.
