It seems an IE-only problem because I didn't encounter anything similar on either the public FF version or the nightly builds. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Directly access any bug detail page, e. g. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100000 Actual Results: A scripting error appears. Expected Results: (If I put something here, it'll be likely to get hilarious. ;p) Scripting error detail: Webpage error details Timestamp: Thu, 25 Jun 2009 17:14:11 UTC Message: Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus. Line: 297 Char: 13 Code: 0 URI: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/js/field.js
Well. Seems I was a little too hasty, because as I'm writing this, *my* page doesn't yet show the scripting error. So it seems there must be something in particular on the page (e. g. a testcase or a file to download) to trigger the issue.
Summary: Scripting error (IE-only) with *any* bug detail page → Scripting error (IE-only) with lots of bug detail pages

I cannot reproduce when visiting bug 100000 with IE8 on Windows 7. I also cannot reproduce when visiting another Bugzilla installation. WFM.

Umm. Don't you think you're jumping the gun a little by setting status to RESOLVED before waiting what others will say? If it works for you, it doesn't necessarily mean that it works for others too. In my previous post, you can find a screenshot which will document I'm not dreaming. Also note it might be your security settings which make the difference.
I can see this error on IE8 running under Vista x64. It doesn't happen with FF3.5 on the same system. Also, it only happens on BMO but not on latest 3.2 branch or tip installs. Note that this does seem to only happen when I'm logged out, not when I'm logged in. Looking into this, reproducing also requires that the keyword chooser is enabled. The keyword chooser requirement means that this was coincidentally fixed by bug 452734, which removed keyword chooser.

Hum wait, bug 452734 landed before 3.2rc2 was released, and b.m.o runs 3.2.3+, so this must be fixed on b.m.o locally.

Thanks Teemu for your insights, and also for the status change! Very appreciated.
This is a YUI thing. We've upgraded to a newer version of YUI since this bug was written, and Bugzilla 4.0 has a new version again. If anyone is still seeing this, please reopen the bug. Gerv
