User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060214 Firefox/3.0.8, Ant.com Toolbar 1.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060214 Firefox/3.0.8, Ant.com Toolbar 1.3
If extended (fullscreen/non-windowed) firefox window is quitted and a new window is opened and switched to windowed mode its size is not the same as it was set the last: it just becomes "minimal sized" (and must be resized).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new window
2. Set the window to windowed mode, and adjust the window size as liked
3. Set the window to full size mode
4. Quit firefox
5. Restart firefox
6. Set the window to windowed mode
Actual Results:
The window does not remember the windowed size: it just shows the top left corner of the bar and must be resized again.
Expected Results:
Set the windows size to last used size.

I updated to Firefox 3.5:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5
the fault still is there.

To get a better minimum size bug 391981 has been filed a while back. But I cannot find another bug which covers this specific issue. Due to that was working in Firefox 2.0.0.x I believe this is another regression from the switch to Cocoa widgets.

There's another bug somewhere that's about exactly this (the user state window size becomes the smallest possible window size); I can't for the life of me find it, though (maybe it's been fixed)? IIRC, in it Tom and/or Markus were talking about the Mac window state model.
Could also be a dupe of bug 429952, I guess, but I think the bug I can't find is the right one.

Maybe bug 429954.
What's "windowed" and "fullsize" mode? How do you switch between them?
