Build Identifier: Eudora 8.0b6

i just installed eudora 8.0b6, and the inbox and outbox buttons don't work. it also seems like the outbox is now relabeled the "sent" box. so, what IS the "outbox"?

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
nothing happens when i click on the In and Out buttons at the top-left of the screen.

Expected Results:
i would expect to see the In or Out messages on the main screen.
Yes, this is confusing, and we need to fix it. The IN and OUT buttons don't appear to do anything.

FWIW you can edit the toolbar to remove those buttons and add buttons for the mailboxes that you would like to have there.

Summary: the inbox and outbox buttons don't work. → the IN and OUT Toolbar buttons don't work.
Some constants in Thunderbird that changed broke this feature.

As to the Out mailbox, Thunderbird has 3 of them:

Drafts: messages which have been saved but not marked to be sent
Outbox: messages which have been marked for sending (queued) but haven't been sent yet
Sent: messages which have been sent

When the Out toolbar button is fixed it will open the Sent mailbox.

If you would like to see these 3 mailboxes get unified in to one Out mailbox, then vote for bug 398008.

This was pretty easy to fix. It will be in the next beta, Eudora 8b7/Penelope0.5a4.
