Filed a separate bug to better keep track of things. We need to create a limit for the input fields for "Name" for anonymous users. See bug 490110 for more details on registered users.
Created attachment 387512 [details] [diff] [review] patch, v1 This patch also takes care of bug 497201, since they overlap in code.

I looked at the patch over in bug 497201, but couldn't find out where you defined what |max_username_length|'s value is; can you post it here, for the record, and also so that QA can test? :-) Thanks!
I use $prefs.max_username_length which is the same as the username length for registering users. See bug 490110.
It's actually a bit confusing for me when you refer to what I call "unregistered" users, as "anonymous users," since, presumably, at least a few will enter their legit info :-) But Verified FIXED on http://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=374570&forumId=1; I'll attach a couple screenshots, next.

No patch in this bug. All related issues are sumo_only, so I figure this one too.
