Filed a separate bug to better keep track of things. We need to create a limit for the input fields for "Name" for anonymous users. See bug 490110 for more details on registered users.

This patch also takes care of bug 497201, since they overlap in code.

I looked at the patch over in bug 497201, but couldn't find out where you defined what |max_username_length|'s value is; can you post it here, for the record, and also so that QA can test? :-)

Thanks!
I use $prefs.max_username_length which is the same as the username length for registering users. See bug 490110.
It's actually a bit confusing for me when you refer to what I call "unregistered" users, as "anonymous users," since, presumably, at least a few will enter their legit info :-)

But Verified FIXED on http://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=374570&forumId=1; I'll attach a couple screenshots, next.

No patch in this bug. All related issues are sumo_only, so I figure this one too.
