If opt (alt) is held down while starting Firefox from the command line, it tries to go into safe mode. It shouldn't in this situation, because Firefox is not going to open with focus, like it would if opened from the Dock. Bug 320746 was supposed to fix this, but did not. This is extremely annoying if I try to use a computer for both automated testing and something else at the same time.
When using hotkey mappers like quicksilver, option key is often used for launching/activating apps. Thus, when I try to use the option key in a key combo to launch firefox, it always starts in safe mode. Really annoying!
