When using Firefox 3.0.13 (Ubuntu bundled version), if I start typing in the search box on AMO before the page has loaded, the prefilled text does not disappear (see screenshot).  Clicking the search box again causes the prefilled text to disappear.

NOTE: I'm on a slower connection (max 50 KB/s download).

STR:
1. Navigate to AMO
2. Start typing in the search box on AMO as soon as it loads and before the page is finished loading

RESULT:
Prefilled text does not disappear

EXPECTED:
Prefilled text should disappear
