I have tested the imap account with a gmail account. I keep seeing the spam folder, even when i unsubscribe the folder.

In Tb 2.0.0.x the folder "disappear" when you unsubscribe

I believe this is a dup of bug 513012, which should have a fix landed soon for tb 3.0 rc1

Do you think? is deleting the same process as unsubscribe? We will see if your patch has landed.

yes, when you unsubscribe, we have to delete it locally to prevent it from showing up in the UI (e.g., the folder pane).
