Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.23 (20090812) I regularly move between using single and dual displays on my macbook, often with sleeps in between. When using two displays the external monitor is the primary display. I find that after several such changes and restoring to the dual setup and with thunderbird on the external primary display, many of the popup menus generated from e.g. the from address on a message I am reading or the to/cc/bcc etc in a compose window, appear orphaned on the laptop (i.e. secondary) display. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Switch between single and multiple display setups several times - w/ external as primary as described 2. Try various popup menus 3. 90%+ some will appear on wrong display Actual Results: Has been happening reliably for months. Expected Results: Popup menus should always appear on (or at least on the same display as ;-) the parent window. In some cases when for whatever reason a compose window has been moved to the secondary display then popup menus can end up appearing on the primary display.
Anything in console.app when this happens ? do you have the same issue with TB3.0b4 ?

Nothing obvious in the console. Haven't tried TB3 beta yet since is mission critical for me. Will have a play with it this evening.
