There should probably be just one magnifying glass in the search box at a time. (Or maybe it searches three times better with three of them ;)

Pretty much bug 525971 - toolkit pulled the gnomestripe Search-glass.png, which was a single magnifying glass, out from under us, but because of the way toolkit's gnomestripe works, starting from winstripe and replacing things, that means gnomestripe still has an image, but it's now the winstripe three-state icon.
