User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) After clearing my recent browser history of the last hour, all saved passwords are gone. They do not appear at my websites nor do they appear at tools> options> passwords. But... once I restart Firefox then they have all been restored. This does not occur when I clear the last 4 hours. Only with "1 hour". I have the following addons (if they might be doing something): Flagfox NoScript Java Microsoft .Net Web Developer Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tools > Clear recent history > 2. Time range to clear :1 hour 3. Check all boxes except Form and Search history 4. All saved passwords are gone. 5. Restart Firefox. All passwords are back again. Actual Results: It happens whenever the last 1 hour is cleared.
there is a SM bug 523345 but nothing for FF

Sorry to reopen this. I just cleared my browsers 4 hour history then went to a site that requires a password and there was none. I opened tools > options > passwords and saw the dreaded white space (i.e., all passwords were gone). Restarted Firefox and they reappeared. Previously it happened only with clearing one hour, not four. earlier today I cleared one hour and there was no problem, but now the 'four hour clear history" temporarily removes my stored password. One more note. I believe every time it happens the first click I make after clearing the history is a toolbar bookmark for a specific site (that requires a password). When I click that bookmark the password popup jumps up but it is empty. The site is a login for a hostgator hosting account. I can give more info if needed. I can also forward a mozbackup profile of the whole browser to someone if that will help.

I just spent a while going to each of the sites I visit regularly, clearing the history, and then clicking on the cpanel login and there was no problem with either the one hour or the four hour. (I did it about ten times) Yesterday it happened again and again using the "one hour" setting. Today it happened only once, using the four hour setting. I won't post again until I figure out exactly what triggers it.
I'm going to close this and repost it as a security issue.
Repost, where ? Please don't create a new bug, it will waste our time with duping your new report tho this one. (and there is no security issue as far as i can see)
I can reproduced this problem with Fx 3.6.10 on Windows and Mac. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ja; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10 Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; ja-JP-mac; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Password Manager 2. Press "Show Passwords" 3. Press "Yes" 4. Close Password Manager 5. Open "Clear Recent History" 6. Check "Active Logins" 7. Press "Clear Now" 8. Reopen Password Manager

The same issue I had with Firefox 17 is now with Firefox 18, that after clearing all history, all my passwords seem to be gone as well. But if I refresh the page a LOT of times and delete history a couple of times again, the passwords show up. Any fixes to this? It is very annoying..
