http://mxr.mozilla.org/comm-central/search?string=browser.history_expire tells me that Thunderbird has browser.history_expire prefs left in /mail/app/profile/all-thunderbird.js but those are obsolete since bug 520165 landed.

Conveniently, unless I misunderstood something, removing the history prefs forced "fixing" bug 514542 so that we don't need the formfill pref anymore, either.
