Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Fx 3.6 installer on Windows 7. 2. Choose Custom install when asked. 3. Advance to Set Up Shortcuts page. Actual Results: Should not offer to add icon "In my Quick Launch bar". Expected Results: Offers to add icon "In my Quick Launch bar".

Well surely it's a dupe of it then?
Nope. bug 630821 is about potentially adding the option to pin to the taskbar (likely off by default). Bug 621873 has a fix for this bug and if / after I land bug 621873 I will resolve this as fixed by the landing of the patch in bug 621873.
