Problems with failure to delete an item from inbox.  It remains and several occurances may be in the trash.  Falsely reporting that incoming mail has a virus or that there is not enough disk space to down load.  I have 32+gb available.  It may give a message that user doesn't have administrative priviledges to write to inbox.  Trash full message to delete and compact.  Very dicey.  Doesn't always work.  Trying to download after messages prevent downloading.  They often download on the next cycle of mail checking.
All of this happened with the last upgrade as noted above.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.do repetive deletes from inbox. a couple may go and then it starts with not deleting from inbox and you see multiple occurances in the trash of the same email

multiple problems with this upgrade.  makes it nearly unusable.  If not fixed soon,  will pick another email program.

How large are the individual folders and files in your profile folder (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder)? If any are over 2GB, you may have problems from that (see bug 439447 for an example).

What are the specific error messages you get?
What antivirus program do you have? does the error still occur with the program disabled?

Can you elaborate on the steps-to-reproduce, please? One step is not enough; each step should contain exactly one thing to do, and the commands that do it (ex: "Select Inbox in the folder pane", "Delete message from Inbox using Delete key").

Unable to write the email to the mailbox.  Make sure the file system allows you write priviledges,  and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox.

the size of the t bird folder profiles is .987gb not approching 2 gb.

still won't delete from the in box.  a delete gets you 1 or more occurances in the trash depending on how many time you make a delete. haven't seen error messages related to deleteing lately.  will advise on if further.
