This is just annoying as it means you cannot properly manage new contacts using this tool - you then have to go into Address Books and drag contacts around. What seems strange is that the multiple address books drop-down does exist when you go to the Address Book and manually create a New Contact - there are the top the first option is Add to... (choice of address books). This is not something broken but just very inconvenient especially when we try and provide IT support to our less technically able clients and for whom I want a straight forwards approach to promote them the merits of such fine product as Thunderbird...! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on the star to add email address to contacts/Address book 2. Click on star again then click on Edit Details to assign new contact to Address Book 3. No Add to... choice of address book Actual Results: missing address book dropdown Expected Results: no address book dropdown...
