Download progress windows are "dependent" on the app window(s) and can't be minimized without minimizing *all* app windows.

As written, this is worksforme with gnome/enlightenment. Note also that this dialog (downloadProgress.xul) is explictly not launched as a dependent dialog (compare the find dialog which is). For future reference, what is your WM?
John: I'm using Sawfish. Adding 4xp keyword, since this works fine in Navigator 4.x.
Keywords: 4xp
is this a dup of 26029? or vice-versa?
Nope.

Under Win32, the progress windows don't have a minimize button. This is rather annoying.
Of course, I meant the download windows...

This now WORKSFORME. However, there remains no minimize button; I got this to work by selecting "minimize" from the window menu. The problem Christian noted under Windows appears to have been addressed in bug 26029. I've filed bug 73631 for the problem in conjunction with Sawfish.
