all-beta claims Firefox 4 is compatible with MacOS 10.4+, should say 10.5+
This is catching a fair number of duplicates in bugzilla, so I think it's pretty urgent to fix. I'm worried that the code might be shared with the stable release download button, though.

We should also update http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/system-requirements.html because the Beta 1 relnotes point the page for sysreqs.

I am seeing the code change on stage but I am not a Mac user, could somebody with a mac confirm that they are seeing the right version number in the dl box now before pushing to production ? Thanks

Timeless, you are in Europe so it may take time for you to see the change as the pages are cached and need propagating to our European datacenter, can you check on trunk which has no caching of pages?:

do we need another bug about the system requirements being hosed?
https://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/4.0b1/releasenotes/#
Before installing, make sure your computer meets the system requirements.
https://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/system-requirements.html
which is:
Firefox 3.6 System Requirements

I propose that we close this bug and open a different bug for the system-requirements issue since this involves writing a new version of system requirements.
