Details |
Bug 545842 improved the styling of menu-buttons but the restyling occurred prior to aero glass landing. The buttons look great on non-aero glass toolbars when they are placed upon a glassy toolbar (menu bar, navigation bar) the buttons stick out like a sore thumb.
I think the buttons should retain the border (only because the drop-arrow indicator would look weird unattached to something) but the background should be made transparent.
See attached screenshot that shows how the button does not fit in with other buttons.
