User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux 2.6.27.37-0.1-default; X11; x86_64) KHTML/3.5.10 (like Gecko) SUSE Build Identifier: Mozilla 5.0 (Windows. U, Windows NT 6.1 en-US, rv.1.9.2.4) Gecko 20100608 Thunderbird 3.1 Follow this steps: 1. run TB 2. create new account 3. enter some dummy data 4. click continue 5. wait for TB to suggest mail setup Now, at this point you have choice of creating account -- this would lead to new account or canceling creation -- this will have no impact on TB, i.e. no new account will be created (so it is like getting back your previous action). There are others buttons -- custom setup, this will allow you to fine tune your setup. It is not creation, nor canceling, you simple correct this or that. 6. click "custom setup" 7. now, click close -- this should cancel creation, but for TB you just accepted all the settings and created new account (or was it created on fly before entering custom setup?) Please note, that default options for TB are fetching all mail automatically. If user has no good reflex, and does not delete the newly account right away, this could be harmful for him/her. Reproducible: Always
