RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 592935

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100713 Firefox/3.6.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100608 Lightning/1.0b2 Thunderbird/3.1

When I want to reply to an email which has been forwarded to me as an attachet .eml file, the wrong account appears in the "From:" window and the equally wrong signature appears in the message window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open message with a forwarded message as an attached .eml
2. Doubleclick .eml -> .eml message opens in a new window.
3. Rightclick on the "Reply" or "Reply all" or the "Forward" Button.
4.
Actual Results:
The "From:" account is set to the second account from top of the list ("All folders") and the inserted signature-html-file is also the one for the second account.
(If I delete that account, the next time it is the "new" second from top)

Expected Results:
The "From:" account should be the one to which the .eml file has been forwarded to.
The one which has been opened to get to the mail containing the forwarded mail (.eml)

I have tested it on three different Win XP machines.
I have tested it additionally with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b2pre) Gecko/20100720 Shredder/3.2a1pre
I have tested it with different profiles.

It didn´t occur with one profile which is stuffed with add-ons and themes (even when I transferred the profile to a different user on that computer.

It did occur on three profiles with few addons (all disabled) and default theme. (Therefore: "Happens every time")

I did compare the account settings and the options settings, but couldn´t find settings that might be responsible for this behavior.
Version: unspecified → 3.1
Found the bug also on a machine running TB 3.0.5
Normal behavior found with similar profile on a machine running TB 2.0.0.24
I can confirm the problem on Thunderbird 3.1.4 on MacOS X. If somebody uses Thunderbird in a professional way with many accounts this bug is annoying and under circumstances dangerous for the own business (for ex. automatically Send BCC to a contributor in a "wrong" account).

What is definition of "wrong" of pre-set From: or Signature upon forward/reply of a mail by a mailer?
Is there any concrete definition of "right" of pre-set From: or Signature upon forward/reply of a mail by a mailer? Could you please point documents such as RFC, Raw, Theory, ..., which defines your "right"?

As Tb has his-own internal rule to set pre-set From: address, it may be different from your thought. There are some cases which can be called Tb's bug. But I can't believe such "difference from your thought" is abosolutely theoretically "wrong" always.
Wurzelbehandlung-69(bug opener) and Hans Peter Schlaepfer, please provide evidence that pre-set From: upon forward/reply set by Tb is theoretically "wrong".

Same issue as bug 592935?
Sorryyyyyyy!
