this site, as many others use http:search to go to subdirectory search. Mozila stat searching instead. I know that it is not the best html tag to use, but may be it would be posible to implement that Mozila first would try to find subdirectory, and then go to search? catn.tug.org (by www.tug.org) is large database website for Latex.

David is right. Mozilla does not support this deprecated usage of relative urls. There is currently no intention to change that policy. Please change the website instead.
