Firefox isn't shipping reporter anymore (bug 572695), and SeaMonkey may stop doing so, too (bug 590487).

If there are no more apps shipping reporter, should we hg remove it?

Can remove, can let it sit for "archival purposes" since it's not hooked up to a build (though in a VCS that's redundant)... I'm ambivalent.

It outlived it's usefulness.

OK, it has no users any more, both Firefox and SeaMonkey removed their usages, this can go ahead.

I'd love to get this in before string freeze and branch so that we don't carry this further along into the future than necessary.

I checked configure.in and the various confvars.sh, there seems to be no further mentioning of reporter, so I think a plain hg remove extensions/reporter will do the trick.
