This probably needs re summarizing. Only noticed this with the nytimes.com page so far, recent (Aug 30thish) nightly builds. STR: 1. Load http://movies.nytimes.com/2010/09/01/movies/01american.html 2. Scroll up and down, you should see artifacts like http://grab.by/6baf 3. Click on the "interactive preview" - http://is.gd/ePgn2 4. Scroll up and down 5. Click back button 6. Switch to any other tab, see artifacts like http://grab.by/6bao You can only get rid of the artifacts by returning to the interactive preview or by closing the tab. Even after closing the tab, you'll see things like http://grab.by/6bas

Note that this bug might be in beta5, so it would be *great* to get a regression range, a QA confirmation, and perhaps a relnote!
blocking2.0: ? → ---
Definitely a betaN blocker, maybe even beta6.
blocking2.0: --- → betaN+
This might be a separate bug, please let me know if I should split it out, but I'm also seeing some of these strange rendering artifacts as we render pages: http://grab.by/6bpD
Here's a movie of some of the rendering glitches: http://people.mozilla.com/~beltzner/rendering-glitches.mov 0:01 - looks like a glitch (big white square) 0:17 - looks like normal rendering (flash coming in over top) 0:24 - looks like a glitch (partial rendering)
Just confirmed that this isn't happening on Windows.

I haven't been able to reproduce this problem on the trunk nightly from the 27th yet, but I was able to reproduce on builds from the 28th. A lot of stuff landed between those two days: http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=e1d55bbd1d1d&tochange=6e3f6d18c124

I've got a patch that should fix this bug at bug 592563. There's also a tryserver build containing the patch at bug 592563 comment #21. I don't know how to reproduce all the problems reported here. Those who can, please try my tryserver build and let us know your results.
Mike, if any of the problems you mentioned in this bug aren't fixed, besides the titlebar problem (bug 594992), please file a new bug for them.
