5963 - RFE: No minimum configuration check done before build allowed

Description

Run WizardMachine.
Go down the the new path until final screen comes up.
Select BUILD INSTALLER button


Result:
Build starts up with no prompt to user even if all pages have no new entires.
Should be, at the very least, some kind of minimum configuration prerequisite
before a build is allowed. Or have a minimum page configuration requirement
before user can go to next screen.

The installer check for available hard disk space is not sufficient.

CCK tool, just prior to creating a customized build, should verify the amount of 
available hard disk space.  Users should be alerted when there is insufficient 
hard disk space.

product. As for checking each time we customize- we will not be spending time on 
this.

I am checking for a Fixed value for disk space here- 16.6 MB which is the total 
size of all the NSCPXPI files. If there is not enough space for them all I dont 
let them continue until they make some space.

CCK will attempt to create a customized build if only 4.5MB of Hard Disk space 
is free.  User is not prompted with an insufficient space warning dialog.

We have previously described the difficulty in actually implementing this and
had agreed that the value does not outweigh the cost.  Please explain the
tremendous new value this will provide.

before building the installer?

Right now, according to the source code CCK does check for disk space. So, we 
have to verify this by trying to build the installer when we don't have 
sufficient space on our hard disk.
