User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 NET_mmhpset Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.9) Gecko/20100915 Lightning/1.0b2 Thunderbird/3.1.4 TB is running in the background or under my current app. I am focusing on the current app and a junk mail arrives. I have a notification popup for a few seconds saying that I have mail and the envelope icon is open in the task bar. So I go to TB and see it is junk. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.receive a junk mail 2. 3. Actual Results: receive notification of new mail Expected Results: TB does a pretty good of marking the junk mail, so why bother me with a notification? I am focusing on another task and it interrupts my train of thought. I think it should only notify for non-junk. One can argue the usability issues here, yes, you did get a mail. But no, it's been marked as not an important one. One might put this non-notification as a default for TB. Or it might be a checkbox in the prefs, but I do find the behavior of telling me about junk mail to be annoying.
