Using nov 17th commercial trunk build
Cross-folder/account navigation will not land in a destination folder/group in a
collapsed folder or collapsed account structure.
Note to QA when verifying a fix: several scenarios to test, don't use only the
simple one provided below.
1. Open and login to account which has second level subfolders.
2. Open one of the subfolders and mark a message or two unread.
3. Click twisty on the parent folder to collapse the folder structure
containing unread item(s) in subfolder(s).
4. Go back to Inbox (all other inbox messages are read). Click Next(Unread)
button. You are prompted "Advance to next unread in <subfolder name>?" click OK
button.
Result: Nothing further happens, does not advance and land in the subfolder
having unread items.
Expected: Should expand the folder structure housing the subfolder and should
land in that subfolder and select/load the next unread message.
Note: Will indeed advance to subfolders in expanded hierarchy.
Note: This also happens when advancing across accounts when destination is in a
collapsed account hierarchy.
Oh, forgot to mention this is an issue carried forward from main feature bug #17801.

This is back in 1.6b!
[Mozilla 1.6b Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6b)
Gecko/20031208 and newer on Win2k. 1.6a didn't have this regression]
If you have several accounts and are using N or SPACE to navigate to the next
unread mail or news message, it will fail if the next unread is in another
account/folder and that folder/server isn't open yet. If your prefs are set to
ask before crossing servers, it will do so, but to no effect.
Steps to reproduce:
- have two accounts (mail or news) [or at least one subfolder in mail]
- mark a message as unread in each account [or in a top-level folder and the
subfolder]
- mnake sure the second server/folder is closed
- read the first unread message
- hit N or SPACE to get to the next unread you've marked
-> crossing question pops up, but next unread isn't shown
We've several other similar open bugs (e.g. bug 212281).
