User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101028 Remi/fc11 Firefox/3.6.12 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101028 Remi/fc11 Thunderbird/3.1.6 When I copy the last word in a line (i.e. a word that's followed by a newline), a space is appended to the end of the word in the clipboard. For example, when I have an email like the following Your login information is as follows: username: johnsmith password: sEcret if I copy the password and paste it into a login field, what gets pasted is not "sEcret" but "sEcret " with a trailing space, which makes the login fail. Reproducible: Always
Bug 597795 sounds potentially related, but in my case the content-type is text/plain, not quoted-printable.
