the moving tabs animation is bad.there is no way to switch windows in the ffox interface.
Reproducible: Always
Expected Results:
you could have a small segment of the bar, like an outward arrow, on the left side that would allow you to view windows in a scrollable list, and switch between them. You should also scroll the size of tabs in the toolbar with the mouse position, like the Mac OS dock. You could also scroll tabs sideways to show hidden ones when you reach within around 1/5 of the edge of the bar.
this would be a huge UI improvement.
If it is all implemented in a way that acts smoothly, like moving up causes the menu to switch (scroll) up, this would rival or beat google chrome's look.

There is a panel that can be shown when you press ctrl-tab (similar to alt-tab for the OS) - see bug 515095. It's not enabled by default however, and might even be removed in the future (Firefox 4.0 prefers to use Panorama as it also allows to group your tabs).
You can enable it by setting browser.ctrlTab.previews to true (in about:config). If you also set browser.allTabs.previews to true, you can also use ctrl-shift-tab to see the entire list.
(I know it's now the same as you ask)
