cannot search pinned tabs.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open about:addons (this titled "Add-ons Manager")
2. pin from "Pin as App Tab" menu
3. open TabView
4. type "add"
Actual Results:  
AppTab is not selected.

Expected Results:  
AppTab is selected. And on <Enter>, selects AppTab and hide the TabView.

Trouble occurs similarly also in the Macintosh platform.

I am not entirely certain that we want app tabs to be searchable. Reasons:

* App tabs have already been promoted by the user and exist in every group; I can't imagine ever losing an app tab.
* Typing in a string and having a small icon highlighted is sort of counter intuitive. There's no indication of why the app tab has been highlighted.

Able to reproduce

Still, this would be an enhancement and can work out if having many app tabs. 
I am not sure this will land in Firefox 4.

I really hope this enhancement could work out, maybe it should take the redesigning of App Tabs in panorama into consideration.

Panorama has been removed from Firefox 45, currently in Beta and scheduled for release on March 7th. As such, I'm closing all existing Panorama bugs.

If you are still using Panorama, you will see a deprecation message in Firefox 44, and when 45 is released your tab group data will be migrated to bookmarks, with a folder for each group. There are also a few addons offering similar functionality.

We're removing Panorama because it has extremely low usage (about 0.01% of users), and has a large number of bugs and usability issues. The cost of fixing all those issues is far too high to justify, and so we'll instead be focusing our time and energy on improving other parts of Firefox.
