Please change the domain name of browserchoice.mozilla.com to browserchoice.mozilla.org. This is part of the overall domain name strategy project driven by the website taskforce. Please have the .com redirect to the .org. More details here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Websites/Taskforce/Proposals/Domain_Name_Strategy Here's a link to the overall tracking bug for this project: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=606278
This is going to be redirection after redirection. This hostname is hardcoded into the EU Browser Ballot "tool" from Microsoft. This is never entered directly by an end user. I suspect this should be part of an exception.

http://browserchoice.mozilla.com/ returns a 404 (no homepage). Do we need to fix this site, or can we just remove the remaining config and WONTFIX this bug?
Copying cmore to make a decision about archiving the site.
The site was a Firefox 4 promotional website and is no longer valid. Remove the config.
Done.

(In reply to Chris More [:cmore] from comment #4) > The site was a Firefox 4 promotional website and is no longer valid. Remove > the config. I thought browserchoice.mozilla.org was part of the EU Ballot package. bug 813731 seems to imply that the one that users actually hit is www.browserchoice.eu, so I guess that's why we can kill it.
