User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101214 Firefox-4.0/4.0b8pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101214 Firefox-4.0/4.0b8pre
If you resize a group and make it very small, it becomes a pile. But once it's a pile, if you restart Firefox, it will no longer be a "pile", and instead look a bit ugly.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a tab group
2.Make it small enough for it to become a "pile"
3.Close Firefox
4.Reopen it
Actual Results:
The pile isn't a pile anymore and thumbnail are just over each other
You need to resize the tab group for it to become a pile again (even if keeping the same size as before resizing)
Expected Results:
The group should be a "pile"

Hmm, this is WFM using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20101215 Firefox/4.0b9pre. Maybe OS specific?
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I think it doesn't affect the current group (it will stay a pile if you restart firefox while the current group is a pile).
Just checked, that's the case.
In the Steps to Reproduce, add the following :
1.Create a tab group
2.Make it small enough for it to become a "pile"
2bis. Go to another tab group
3.Close Firefox
4.Reopen it
Another way to make the tab group go back to a pile : go to the group (open on of its tabs), and go back to Panorama
