62738 - Crash on closing a window, seemingly random.

Description

Mtrunk 2000121208 and 2000121108.
 When browsing web sites, especially after going forward and back a few times,
clicking the close box results in crash (Type-11 error mostly).
 I have my cache size set at zero.
 The crash occurs with pages in English or Japanese, with or without frames.  I
can not recognize anything specific in those sites.
 I am quite certain that this crash started to happen in this week's Mac builds.
 20001208 build did not show this problem.

unstable lately (even on win32)...

The closest to something reproducible: Crashes quite often when I close the
window that comes up with links to Netscape plug-in site.  More prone to crash
when closing before the content is rendered completely.

Seeing this bug too on Linux (latest build, pulled from CVS). I second Fabian's
comments about Mozilla's instability (at least on Linux) lately.

I can not tell whether this crash is the same as bug 62643, bug 62931, or bug
62945.  There is bug 62995, too.
I am experiencing crashes whether an image is loading or not.  I am not sure if
this crash is child-window only.  Even when I close a child-window, I do not get
reproducible crash.  Probably they are all related as they started to occur in
this week's builds.

Today's build seems to be much stabler than the past few builds.
I get this "closing window crash" much less often.  It looks like 0.7 release is
realistic.

I'm having the same problem on 2000122204-MTrunk (Win 98 System).  Every time I
close a browser window (any one), Mozilla crashes.  A talkback report with the
ID TB23457361W.  I also believe that some of the bugs this one blocks are the
same (esp 62931).  This really needs to be fixed.  It has been an issue for a
few weeks now.  Thanks!

this is probably  bug 62643.  the stack trace doesn't match the other closing on
exit bugs and does line up pretty close to 62643. (Brian Z, you're seeing bug
62968 which is not the same bug originally reported here.) None of those other
bugs set up as dependencies block this bug as far as I can see.  Removing
dependencies and duping this bug.
