Details

This can be seen (at least under linux) on any page (such as bugzilla query or
bug entry) where "select" fields and "textarea" fields are on the same page. The
select field with SIZE attribute uses a system style scroll bar, while the text
area, as soon as any content is entered uses a scroll bar from the current
mozilla theme. This looks strange.

so, you mean, we should use mozilla scrollbars everywhere and not use native ones?

That's probably the best solution. They ought to match and I guess it would look
funny to have the page as a whole use mozilla scrollbars and the elements inside
the page use native scroll bars.
This will happen when we rewrite the form controls in XBL.

Yes, this is known (obviously.) Selects use native scrollbars and the rest use 
Gfx scrollbars. When we go to XBL control this will go away

this bug was suspected to be a dupe of bug 112713 which is now fixed. Could a
Linux user check if this bug is still valid ?
Right now I am using the Noia theme, and running under Mandrake 10.1.  The
select scrollbar has the same look like other scrollbar, so I think this is fixed.

The bug assignee didn't login in Bugzilla in the last 7 months, so the assignee is being reset.
