Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0pre) Gecko/20110402 Thunderbird/3.3a4pre

STR

1 Create new message with Ctrl+N
2 Press Ctrl+S to save the message

Actual Result
- for a second, we flash a message box titled "Sending messages" (how misleading is that!), text: "Status: Your message has been saved"
- after that, we correctly show message box titled "Saving messages - the message title"...

Expected Result
- don't confuse the user claiming TB has sent a draft message while we are only saving that message!
- iow, do NOT show the message box wrongly titled "Sending messages" when saving drafts
- "Saving message*s*" as a plural form does not make sense either (can it ever be more than one at a time?), should be "Saving message - ..."
This WFM , I don't see the Sending message text.

Thomas is your draft a local folder ?
Ludovic, the wrong msg only flashes for less than a second, it's easy to overlook even when paying 100% attention, because the msg is immediately "overwritten" by the correct msg box. Try Ctrl+S several times in a row to slow things down. Or a slower mashine :)

Yes, my draft is in a local pop3 Drafts folder, and I can reliably reproduce on
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0.1pre) Gecko/20110411 Thunderbird/3.3a4pre
on Windows 7. Otherwise, it should be visible in the code, or not?
I was trying over imap and took my time and didn't see the flash. Yes it should be visible in the code.
I think I see the problem. But on the screenshot the title stays bad even after the save is finished. Did the save complete faster than the title could be flashed to the proper value? Because you say so in the original report.
