Callek, is this to be closed and a rc2 bug to be made, or does this cover both? And what about the steps for final?

Since there is no tracking bug for RC2 I'm commenting here. As was pointed out a couple of times by others, 2.1 RC2 identifies itself as "2.1pre" due to a misplaced tag. Thus, aa62fadbe95e needs to be used for SEAMONKEY_2_1_RELEASE (i.e., for 2.1 final) even if you go with the wrong tag for the RC2 release.
