The new message windows always start maximized too. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: I expect this to either not be the default behavior or to have a way to turn it off.

NO, I do not see it on another distro. The compose window is not maximized when opened.

This was reported against TB 3.1. So maybe it works now. Thom (reporter), feel free to reopen this bug if it still happens on the current version of TB31.6.
